Elevate Performing Arts @ Meriden is a school that believes in creating a safe and fun - filled environment which harbours excellence in the performing arts. Our aim is to instill confidence and self esteem in students, while offering only the highest caliber of dance technique, training and opportunity. All students are given the opportunity to learn both classical and modern styles of performance in our extensive range of classes

- Classical Ballet (R.A.D Syllabus)

- Breakdancing (expressions of interest welcome)
- Contemporary (expressions of interest welcome)
- Zumba (adult class)
- Group Singing
All of our students will be given the chance to perform their amazing new talents at the end of each term (at Parent Open Day), and our fabulous end of year concert! Other performance opportunities both competitive and non competitive, will arise for our stars throughout 2010 - so keep watching this space!!!!
ELEVATE PERFORMING ARTS HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS
The Elevate Performing Arts Musical workshops are held during all term/year holidays and are conducted on the Meriden senior school grounds. Students who enroll for the three day workshop take part in an array of performance studies, some including:
Drama - Hip Hop - Ballet - Lyrical/Contemporary - Musical Theatre - Singing
Catwalk and Deportment - Jazz - Set Design…..And loads more!
STUDENTS FROM ALL SCHOOLS WELCOME!!!!
At the end of day three, parents and friends are invited to watch a performance that will showcase their child’s new and fabulous skills! AFTER SCHOOL CARE
It is a very helpful fact that Meriden offers After School Care (AFC) on the school grounds from 3pm - 6pm. This ensures that your child will never be left unsupervised if the classes you choose for 2010, begin after 3:30. |
